Gay Marriage - right or wrong?

A ticklish subject for many, but for me the issue is cut and dry!

When two people are deeply in love and wish to spend the rest of their Life together we as human beings are usually happy to help them celebrate a wonderful wedding and wish them all the good in their marriage. Of course that seems to be only when the people are male and female.

What about same gender couples? Is their love any less valid? I am married (heterosexual marriage) and I would be very upset if someone would have the Gaul to tell me that I was morally wrong for loving the person I am with. Just because one the religious folks out there are standing behind their books and want to preach hell fire down on everyone that may be a bit different, doesn't make it any more valid.

You want to preach tolerance for every human being. Love unconditional etc. but only when it suits your personal agenda. Love is blind, it doesn't know gender, it is not able to be shut off like a light switch if it is deep and in my books I think gay couples should have the same rights and chance for a happily ever after as any other couple.

We have overthrown every other law out there, I vote YES for Gay Marriages.

Ok now it is up for debate to you! And I do not accept...but the Bible says it is wrong statements on that one! Show me any other reason why Gay Couples should not have the right to be married and protected by the law. Religion does not come into it here, since not everyone out there goes to your Church! So aside from that, what reason do you have against it or for it!

I stand by Gay Marriage rights. The reason for it, well I'm not sure but I can tell you one thing. Why bother with what other people are doing when you should be primarily concerned with yourself. Now think about it this way. You've heard that "well it's against the bible" and then again it is but check this out. According to the Constitution Religion and Government should not intermix with each other. So government stays out of religion's way and vice versa. So I'm with what the constitution says. Religion has no right to make a law based on their religion. Cause if they could, America would be like other countries that have not succeeded because of the intermix. Tell me what you think. I may be wrong on something but I doubt it.
