We hear it in the News almost constantly, we read about it in the Papers and we see it on TV all the time. Adults seeming to find it necessary to molest or rape small(ish) kids. Now that in it-self is disturbing and I can assure you that even the thought of some mentally fucked up person finding a child (anywhere from 2 Years old up to 16 Years) hot and sexy is enough to make me want to castrate a couple of them.
However, I do have to stop for a moment as well and put my foot in the fat here so to speak. After getting the warning signs from all around, why would a Mommy or Daddy allow their small fries to walk around with skirts that barely cover their bottoms? I am not talking about the carry around Babies here, but little Tottlers up to 5th Graders. I see that daily, little Girls in skirts no hooker would leave at home.
I understand that you may not see any harm in it, because after all we Adults should know better, but obviousely there are many Adults out there that know but don't care.
How about at least going with the old School Dress Code Rule, no skirts or dresses shorter then touch the fingertips when your hands are straight down. That at least covers their Bottoms.
Yes, I know most Girls will dissagree with it, especially the little older Teens, but look ladies it is a simple equation. Even so a seductive dress or skirt does not give a guy or man the right to rape you, it still signals that you are lose and give easy access. And since when do perverts follow the Rules? So next time you want to show your fanny off, start thinking about what you are saying to the world first please.
And Mom's please an 8 Year old has no business dressing like an Adult Female Period, that is down right sick.
Now it is your Turn!

Looks say all!
Have you been walking to a Grocery Store or any other place lately? Maybe had the dubious honor of riding a public Bus? If yes, you know all about the looks I mean.
Imp and I were walking down the Street the other day when we crossed the path of several Middle School Students. Their dirty looks and down right rude comments were enough for both to feel our hackles rise up. This prompted a typical Mother / Daughter Discussion on the way.
Imp mentioned to me that these days it appears as if people have nothing better to do any longer then to give others dirty looks. She was telling me how uncomfortable it felt for her sitting on a bus with old women staring at her and giving her dirty looks. I have to mention here that I still censor my daughters clothing and no she does not leave the house looking like an apprentice street walker.
As for me I have noticed the constant "irritation" and "dissapproval" from most females and the more then irritating overly sexual looks from guys in my Town. It is sad in my opinion, considering that walking to the Store in Jeans and a Shirt, with little or no make up on shouldn't prompt such a behavior at all. Heck, these days you can't even wear a skirt or dress outside anylonger in Las Vegas without some Asshole honking or yelling stupidities at you out of their Windows.
Now I bring it to you my dear Readers young and old.
What is your opinion of folks and their constant dirty looks and rude remarks for everyone else? Is it normal behavior or has it simply gotten out of hands?
For me I find it a constant irritant, but sadly we are all guilty of it from time to time.

My Daughter has joined the Airforce!
Hello everyone, it has been such a long time since we last posted on here that I do have much to update you on. It looks as if for the next several month I will be the only one bringing updates and topics to you to discuss and I desperately hope that many of you will join with the discussions, to show to my Co-Author Imp that people out there do care still and that her fruits of labor where not all for nothing.
Now for the updates! Imp has graduated early as she has planned and has managed to do so with honors! Yeah!!! We are all very proud of her for her achievements. What she did not manage sadly however was to precure any Scholarships for her College Education as she had hoped to do and sadly the money from my end is not flowing enough for me to put her through College either.
After a lot of thinking back and forth, she decided to join the United States Air Force and is now in her waiting period to start Basic Training in January 2009.
She is truly excited about the any opportunities that have presented them-selves to her with this decision. Her College Education is now taken care of and she is still planning on becoming an Attorney while serving her Country at the same time. I know that this little ball of energy and fire will do well and like every other Parent I am a bit nervous in these times. However, as always I am standing 100% behind her decisions for her life and will be here to cheer her on when the going gets tough.
We were unable to keep posting for a while, since we had lost internet access and then life just got entirely too hectic with her tests, graduations etc.
Imp had taken a Job at a local Restaurant which she lost only about 1 month ago, when the Restaurant closed down. So back to the drawing board and for now until January she is home with me helping me creating my Arts and Crafts for Sale in our weekly Yard / Arts & Crafts Sales and EBAy Store. (Take a look if you want to help out, you may just find some fun and reasonable Items for Christmas or other special occassions).
Imp has asked me to keep this Blog up and going since this was originally our link between young Adults and those of us who already had a few years of experience on our backs. This will also become a nice update for all of you who knew her in person and are curious to see what is happening to her as she continues to grow. She has promised me to log in from time to time and try to put her 2 Cents in and continue argueing her side of the coin so to speak.

Looking for more involvement on this blog!
When Imp and I started this blog many month ago, she could hardly wait to open her emails in the morning and see who responded. She was looking forward to seeing this blog become a success. After many weeks and month, she learned an important lessons.
Most people don't like to get involved. They may read, but the don't necessarily find the time or interest to comment or discuss issues that are not trivial, but may actually have some impact on our day to day lives.
Finally one day my little Imp just gave up and stopped posting all together. She started getting the attitude so many of todays youth and sadly also the adults seem to want to display.
"Why should I bother?"
At first I thought she was just pouting, after all we all do get discouraged, but now after watching (no I won't force her to put he time in on the blog) for many weeks, I have decided to see if I can not bring some life to this and at least make one small difference out here in the world.
I have decided to link this blog to my myLot User Profile so others all over the world can get a chance at chiming in on the discussions. What makes me think that the mylot users will be any different then the rest of the WWW communities? They are "hobby writers", freelancers and people that in general have something to say. The write almost everyday for pennies and voice their opinion on wide varieties of subjects.
This may be a ditch effort on my part, but I don't want this blog dying. I still believe that giving parents and teens a chance to discuss many different areas is important. I hope you will too.
Thanks!

A new topic: Should children be subjected to Drugtests in school?
Good Day everyone, friends, readers and you the virtual Jury.
Todays subject is: Should Students be subjected to random Drugtests in School?
I am of two minds here, part of me has no problems with it at all. I am strictly against Drugs and believe that any measure to erraticate it from our Schools should be taken. On the other hand, school budgets are constantly being cut it seems and now we are going to spend about $150 a pop on a drug test?
Those that take the drugs won't be disturbed either, in the weird society of students they will just be looked upon as "cool" after.
So it really defeats the purpose.
Imp what do you think?
